Definition:

A text control intended for highlighting a term about to be defined in the text that follows.

This tag is not currently in the 2.0 DTD, however it did appear in early versions of the 2.0 proposed DTD.

Suggested style/usage:

Use to highlight a specialized term in text that's about to be defined, or for which a definition can be found in a related document, like a glossary.
